Description
At the front left is the most familiar thylacine (sometimes called a Tasmanian tiger, Tasmanian wolf, or marsupial wolf), the biggest meat-eating marsupial of historical times. They sadly went extinct in 1936.
The animal at front right is a small thylacine, Dickson's thylacine, which lived in Australian rainforests and woodlands between about 23-12 million years ago. Its small size leads to its alternate common name, marsupial fox.
The bigger thylacine at the back is the powerful thylacine, which lived about 10-8 million years ago. It was somewhat larger and burlier than the modern thylacine, with a much more robust skull.

I like how the mainland one isn't the same colour pattern as the tazzy one.
